Nuts! It was the battle cry heard across the country that prompted a fan campaign unlike anything we've ever seen when fans from all walks of life got together and saved this fantastic series from that almighty axe when they sent more than 20 tons of nuts to the New York and Los Angeles CBS offices.

Series Synopsis

Jericho tells the story about what happens when a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears on the horizon, plunging the residents of a small, peaceful Kansas town into chaos, leaving them completely isolated and wondering if they're the only Americans left alive. But in this time of crisis, as sensible people become paranoid, personal agendas take over and well-kept secrets threaten to be revealed, some people will find an inner strength they never knew they had and the most unlikely heroes will emerge.

Is it worth your hard-earned cash?

Of all the series that came out during the 2006-07 television season, Jericho was one of my guiltiest pleasures. Even after the ten-week break, I anxiously tuned in to see what would happen next and was never disappointed. While many series keep fans guessing about various mysteries, Jericho was never one of those shows that held back information for long. Each one-hour episode was loaded with vital storyline information, yet by the end of the show, I couldn't wait until the following week despite feeling completely satisfied by what I had just learned.

The DVD release offers fans a chance to go back to the town of Jericho, learn about the process of putting this show together, watch the scenes that didn't make it to the final product (even though some of them should) and most importantly -- view all 22 episodes from season one before the unprecedented season two begins in 2008.

So, is it worth your hard-earned cash? This delicious series is worth every penny! Watch it and share it with all of your friends....they'll thank you for it.
